Rahul Bakshi

Rahul joined OMERS in 2013. Based in London, Rahul co-manages the Event Driven Strategies program, an internal hedge fund focused on merger arbitrage, index rebalances, and other corporate events in developed markets. The team employs quantitative models to systematically profit from opportunities globally.

Before joining OMERS, Rahul held similar roles as a Portfolio Manager with ATP, Denmark’s national pension plan, and as Proprietary Trader with Barclays Capital in London.

Rahul holds a First Class Honours degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham.
